Hooley Hook-up

The Irish American Heritage Center kicks off its 24th annual Irish Fest this July with a Hooley Hook-up on Friday, July 10 from 6-9:00pm.

The Hooley Hook-up is a party within the party where more than 100 singles will mingle in the Irish American Heritage Center 's Fifth Province pub.

What's a hooley? A hooley is an old-fashioned Irish term for a dance and party. Every summer in Ireland for the past 150 years, swarms of singles try and meet that someone special at the Lisdoonvarna Matchmaking Festival.

Irish Fest has taken this tradition and added a bit of a twist creating a dancing, mingling and matchmaking festival like no other. True Irish matchmakers will be on hand to help you make that perfect match. Participants will be treated to live music, drink specials, special raffles and door prizes.  Get out to the festival early and possibly meet your "special match" or just come to hang out

Admission to the Fest also gains admission to the Hooley.
